Questions
Common questions
Do customers need to install an app?
No. They use a printed ticket, their phone camera to scan the QR code, or WhatsApp, which most people already have.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Qivo is a web system, so the counters, kiosk and board need a connection to the server. If your branch has unreliable internet, talk to us about a setup on your local network.
Can we use our own wording for voice announcements?
Yes. You write the template, for example "Number {number}, please go to {counter}", and choose the language and voice. The voices come from the browser running the board.
Is WhatsApp required?
No. WhatsApp joining and notifications are optional. Many sites start with just the kiosk and display board.
Can we run several branches?
Yes. Each branch has its own services, counters, kiosk and board, and you can report on them together or separately.
